“Hi, Little Vinny!” Michael said with a smile.

“Why are you still doing that stooopid British voice?” Big T asked, looking at Michael sternly. “You’re among friends now. You can drop the disguises.” He handed them a briefcase. “I got something for you! This is your cash. Why don’t you go and freshen up, and then we can talk about another job. There’s this bank, you see, and I would like to make a withdrawal, if you know what I mean.” Big T chuckled and showed the Goodfellows down the corridor towards one of the rooms.

“Oh,” Colin said, smiling and taking the briefcase. “Thanks!”

The family headed down the corridor, their pace getting faster until they were practically running. They reached the doorway Big T had pointed out and rushed in, quickly closing the door behind them.

“What are we going to do?” Camilla asked.

“I don’t know,” Deborah said.

“We need a plan,” Michael said.

“Any ideas, Colin?” Deborah snapped.

“Dad?” Camilla yelled when Colin didn’t answer.

Colin had opened the briefcase and was speechless for a moment.

He showed it to the others. “Look at this,” Colin said. “Look at all this money. There’s got to be thousands here, hundreds of thousands. What are we going to do? We have a briefcase of cash and a bag of stolen diamonds with our fingerprints on them.”

“That’s not the worst of it,” Michael said.
